Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Technician for the QA/QC department of Nordic Flow control, the person will be responsible for below responsibilities:

  • Perform Inspection for in-process and outgoing sub-parts and products.
  • Prepare and compile inspection reports, non-conformance reports and other quality control.
  • Conduct quality control Inspection/FAT Activities for incoming products, during assembly and finished products.
  • Perform quality control inspection and testing of electronic/ electrical/ electromechanical parts and assemblies
  • Facilitate and monitor supplier's quality and product issues.
  • Work closely with inter departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain of record of equipment and necessary administrative work.
  • Able to work independently
  • Plan, coordinate, and handle all QC activities.

Job Requirements

  • ITE / Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years of QC hands on experience preferably in relevant industry (Electrical & Electronics Components)
  • Prior experience in the Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyards will be highly advantageous.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).
  • Relevant working experience in technical field will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Responsible, Meticulous, and able to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
