Job Description

SIM Global Education is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates are required to deliver the course content in a 5-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, facilitate group discussions and in-class presentations, as well as manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the unite leader based in the partner university to achieve the desired students' outcome.

Commitment:

Module: MUF0061 Economics Unit 1: Introduction to Microeconomics

Economics studies choices that individuals, firms and governments make when allocating resources in an economy. This subject explores economic issues and the effect these have on our daily lives.

Module: MUF0062 Mathematics Unit 2: Introduction to Macroeconomics

While Microeconomics involves analysing economic decision making of individuals and firms at a market or personal level, Macroeconomics takes a broader approach and considers the behaviour of the entire economy in terms of its output, income, employment and other indicators. This unit will introduce you to macroeconomic goals of an economy, the ways in which achievement of these goals is measured and the models we use to analyse causes and effects in the economy. You will learn about government policies that can assist in achieving goals and lead to higher living standards for everyone. Finally, you will analyse the way in which an economy's interactions with the rest of the world impact on its performance.

Classes are mostly conducted during the day 8.30am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 6.30pm.

Job Requirements

  • Have a recognised degree (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent) with specialisation in the discipline being taught, 
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant classroom teaching experience (or a formal qualification in Education).
  • Have experience teaching non-English speaking students is a plus
  • Familiar with online teaching tools will be an advantage
