What you'll be doing

  • Maintain the journal's submission system and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Support and oversee the editorial workflow for academic research journals, from submission to publication.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial and production teams to streamline processes, ensure efficiency, and meet strict publication deadlines.
  • Edit and format scholarly articles with precision, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with journal standards.
  • Monitor research developments and emerging trends in the journal's field, providing input to support the editor in achieving strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong communication with the editor-in-chief, editorial board members, authors, and reviewers to ensure smooth journal operations.
  • Conduct preliminary manuscript reviews, provide editorial feedback, and manage revisions to ensure submissions meet publication requirements.
  • Manage the journal's presence on media platforms by publishing research updates and news to strengthen visibility and readership.
  • Coordinate and host academic seminars, inviting experts and scholars to discuss key topics, thereby enhancing the journal's quality and academic influence.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or above, science and engineering background preferred.
  • Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; candidates with relevant experience are preferred;
  • Familiarity with academic publishing processes and peer review systems.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, patient, efficient, and capable of handling large volumes of manuscripts while ensuring quality.
