Freight Operation Executive (Sea & Air Freight)

  • Mon - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm Saturday 8:30am to 12:30 pm
  • Working Location: Changi South
  • Salary : $2500 - $3500

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the logistics and shipping operations for both inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including airway bills, bills of lading, and other required import/export paperwork
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth transportation from origin to destination, updating clients and stakeholders as needed
  • Inspect cargo in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, handling, and compliance with safety regulations
  • Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, cargo details, and other logistics documentation
  • Support permit declarations and ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any operational issues or delays
  • Provide support to both clients and internal teams, answering queries related to shipments, documentation, and logistics processes
  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required to support the logistics department and meet operational goals

Working Hours: Monday to Friday [9.00am-6.15pm]

Location: Suntec Tower 3

Salary: up to $4k + VB

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience

Job Scope:

  • Prepare commodity sale and purchase contracts in consultation with Trading, Trade Finance and Shipping Team.
  • Liaise with suppliers and buyers on all contract related finalisation.
  • To follow up and finalize all Trade related contracts in consultation with the internal team and put through the Trade Contract.
  • To handle transaction cycle for all shipments with proper monitoring of each step of trade deal execution
  • Keep track of contract details and make out periodical reports as and when required.
  • Work closely with back office and operational staff to ensure smooth logistics/end to end supply chain of your trades
