Process Engineer Petrochemical

Responsibilities:
- Develop and propose process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational safety, product quality, energy efficiency, production capacity, and cost reduction.
- Implement approved process improvements through Management of Change (MOC) and non-regular work systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee new product grade trial runs in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams; manage trial execution and evaluation.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance and critical parameters on a periodic and long-term basis to identify potential risks related to plant stability, safety, or quality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot process-related issues; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate actively in safety and quality improvement initiatives such as HAZOP, FMEA, and Control Plan studies.
- Lead process-related capital expenditure projects from conceptual design through Front-End Engineering Design (FEED).
- Research and apply Industry 4.0 technologies to drive productivity and process improvements.
- Support and promote company-wide Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) programs.
- Collaborate with other departments on management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, IATF 16949, Safety Case Regime, Energy Management System, and ISCC Plus.
- Conduct studies such as Non-Revenue Water (NRW) analysis and support MOC or other requests from internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 years engineering experience; 3 years preferred in petrochemical or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with Safety Case Regime and ISO management standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651).
- Proficient in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus and Aspen HYSYS.
- Knowledgeable in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), especially logic and sequence modifications.
