Associate Trainers (Debate & Public Speaking)

At Mastereign Enrichment, we believe in nurturing confident communicators and critical thinkers. We are looking for passionate Debate Trainers who can inspire students to think on their feet, articulate their ideas clearly, and engage in constructive argumentation.

Job Description

Conduct one or more of the following programmes:

  • Debate and Argumentation
  • Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
  • Persuasive Communication and Critical Thinking
  • Leadership and Teamwork in Debating
  • Speech Writing and Delivery
  • After-school or competition-based debate enrichment programmes

Your Role:

  • Train and mentor students of different ages in small or large groups
  • Deliver engaging debate and communication lessons during weekdays
  • Prepare students for intra-school or national-level competitions
  • Use creative, interactive teaching methods to build confidence and speaking fluency
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers or programme coordinators

Requirements for Associate Trainers

  • MOE Registered Trainer - we are able to assist in registering you if you are not registered yet

Requirements

  • MOE-Registered Trainer (we can assist you with registration if you are not registered yet)
  • Prior experience coaching debate or public speaking (in schools or competitions preferred)
  • Strong command of English and familiarity with debate formats
  • Able to teach students of different ages, especially secondary school students
  • Able to work during school hours (7.30am – 5pm)
  • Confident, energetic, and able to project a professional image
  • Passionate about youth development, communication, and education

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
