The Job
- Perform quantity take-off and cost estimation, ensuring accurate assessment of materials, labour, and project requirements.
- Interpret tender/quotation specifications and prepare competitive offers, including complete submission packages and pricing verification.
- Source and evaluate vendors by compiling quotations, reviewing cost competitiveness, and summarising materials, equipment, and subcontract scopes.
- Manage customer enquiries and ad-hoc requests professionally, providing timely follow-ups on submitted quotations and tender status.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all quotation activities and support sales forecasting through regular updates and reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and support after sales-related activities; tele-sales experience will be an added advantage.
The Talent
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
