Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Executive

Job Summary:

·       Basic Salary : up $5500

·       Working Location: Sunview Road

·       Working Days: Mon-Fri

·       Working Hours: 8.30am – 6.00pm

Job Description

  • Set up and lead the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including ISO 22000.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure consistent production of safe and high-quality food products by implementing effective quality control and process monitoring from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Oversee and maintain HACCP plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality documentation for existing and new products.
  • Drive regulatory and customer compliance, ensuring timely implementation of new requirements.
  • Lead and conduct training programs on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards for staff.
  • Manage environmental testing, hygiene checks, and verification activities to uphold facility and equipment cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to manage the Preventive Maintenance Programme, ensuring maintenance aligns with FSMS requirements.
  • Investigate process deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, ensuring timely reporting and effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Prepare and present quality reports and improvement initiatives to support management decision-making.
  • Co-drive Research & Development (R&D) trial batch runs, ensuring quality and food safety requirements are met.

Requirements

·       Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry or its equivalent

· to 3 years of experience in setting up best practices within a central kitchen or food production facility.

·       Experience in leading and/or overseeing production in a Food manufacturing/processing plant is required – seafood/meat processing is preferred.

·       Strong knowledge of food safety management systems and quality control procedures/standards.
