Responsibilities :

  • Provide overall leadership, governance, organization and management of the project team
  • Responsible for project team resource planning, recruitment, training & development and retention o Plan and recruit Project Engineers / Designers / Drafters as per the demand o Develop, coach, guide and train the Project Engineers / Designer / Drafters o Manage Half-yearly & yearly appraisal process for the project team for their professional & career development
  • Responsible for execution all assigned projects with respect to Safety, Quality, Design, Procurement, Construction, Contractual, Budget, Schedule and Resources
  • Ensure competent / qualified Project Engineer / Designer / Drafter assignment to the project
  • Ensure project execution compliance in accordance to PQP o Manage all project stakeholders (Owners, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Third Parties & Internal Team) for smooth project execution
  • Approve Purchase Requisitions / Invoices on-time for issuing PO & payment to suppliers o Project Cost control (including site expenditure) to ensure profit margin for the projects
  • Ensure additional works are carried out with Variation Order Request approval from customer
  • Manage cash flow of the assigned projects by ensuring regular progress claims submission & approval relating to the work progress at site
  • Achieve all assigned projects' objectives (Project On time delivery, Project Cost less than the allocated budget etc.)
  • Escalate challenges to MD appropriately to resolve it on time
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Project Team on Project status update
  • Other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in various software such as MS Office, MS Projects/Primavera
  • Min 8 years of working experiences in construction industry
  • Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
