About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for our manufacturing clients in Malaysia. This role requires strategic oversight, exceptional leadership, and deep technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions that drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management for AI, APS, ERP, and MES initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the integration of AI-driven solutions into APS, ERP, and MES platforms to enhance functionality and business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Drive stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project execution and technology implementation.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
  • Education: PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Operation Management, or related field); Candidates with lower qualification but proven track records will also be considered
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing AI, APS, ERP, or MES projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise-level technology projects.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing) and their applications in APS, MRP, CRP, and MES systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-leading platforms
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMP certification preferred).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based AI and enterprise solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity in enterprise systems.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
