The Digital Sales Development team guides and influences customers to take informed decisions in the early stages of their digital transformation journey by creating a world-class engagement experience. This team is responsible for building and nurturing pipeline of sales opportunities and incremental revenue aligned with the Sales and Marketing teams, focusing on prospecting into the SAP install base and net new name accounts, while nurturing leads into qualified opportunities within their assigned space. A **Sales Development Analyst Intern** plays a crucial role in supporting public cloud sales development team's efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales analytics, market research, and data-driven decision-making. The analyst intern will collaborate closely with the sales development team to analyze key performance indicators, assess market trends, and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth.
**What you'll do**:
**Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze data to generate insights that inform sales strategies and target audience identification.
**Sales Performance Analytics**:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of sales performance dashboards and reports.
- Evaluate and interpret sales data to provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices for data hygiene and organization.
**Lead Generation**:
- Collaborate with the sales development team to create targeted lead lists and identify prospects.
- Utilize various tools and platforms to gather relevant data for lead generation activities.
**Communication and Collaboration**:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment on objectives and strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the sales development team and other stakeholders.
- Regularly review lead pipeline and progression. Proactively give qualitative and quantitative feedback to Marketing on campaigns using standard procedures and reports
**Training & Enablement**:
- Assist in activities to enhance demand generation and product/solution skills
- Be active part of either classroom, e-learning, virtual classroom, or mentor-lead activities
- Complete all enablement requested in a timely manner
**What you bring**:
- Experience in Demand Generation or Inside Sales environment preferred
- High volume activity working environments, involving phone and a CRM/ Contact Management System
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills
- Highly positive "can do" attitude to make things happen and willingness to learn fast
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong project management and analytical skills, integrity and team spirit
- Fluency in English required
- Fluency in any other languages in Asia Pacific Japan preferred
