About the role

Our client is seeking a talented and passionate a Junior Commercial Interior Designer to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in the East Region. As a Junior Commercial Interior Designer, you will play a vital role in the creation and implementation of innovative design solutions for commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and translate their vision into functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial spaces
  • Produce detailed design plans, technical drawings, and 3D visualisations to effectively communicate design concepts
  • Source and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and equipment that align with the client's budget and design brief
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Provide support and address any client queries or concerns

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • Experienced in commercial interior design, preferably in the retail, hospitality, or office sectors is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, functional, and visually appealing spaces
  • Ability to conduct site visits when required
  • No experience needed as training will be provided
