About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our talented team at Squarefeat Pte Ltd, a leading interior design firm based in the Paya Lebar East Region. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting commercial and residential design projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating closely with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
  • Developing innovative and visually appealing interior design concepts and plans
  • Selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and other design elements
  • Preparing detailed design drawings, renderings, and project documentation
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of designs
  • Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Interior Designer, preferably in a commercial setting
  • Strong technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • A creative and innovative approach to design, with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with clients and project teams
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident status
