Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead civil and infrastructure design projects. You will be responsible for detailed engineering design, technical reviews, project management, and providing guidance to junior engineers. The role offers exposure to challenging projects such as drainage, sewage, tunnelling, bridges, and underground excavation, with opportunities to work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake detailed design in one or more areas: civil (drainage, sewage), bridges/tunnels, underground excavation, and tunnelling works
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to provide technical support for design and execution
  • Review and check design and drawings for submission and approval
  • Conduct analysis of structural components using relevant engineering software
  • Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers to support their professional development

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in geotechnical works, concrete/steel structures, or soil-structure interaction
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and analytical tools
  • Experience in project management and design coordination will be an advantage
