  • Demonstrate Expert level product knowledge for IBM Spectrum Protect solutions and competitive solutions
  • Perform billable services engagements, including installation/implementation of IBM Spectrum Protect
  • Conduct Technical Training and educate Operations Team on IBM Spectrum Protect solutions and storage management
  • To support 24/7 shift

Requirement:

  • In depth Knowledge on

o IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX

o Knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options

o IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc)

o IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail(Domino and Exchange)

o IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Vmware

o NDMP Backup using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager

o DRM Implementation and Management using Tivoli Storage Manager

o Veritas Netbackup BAU operations for VM backup and recovery

  • Knowledge on Tape Libraries and LTO Tape Drives
  • Audit application backup policies and environments
  • Should have desired Operating System Skills
  • Responsibilities include providing remote and onsite support
  • Analyse and resolve escalated problems within target
  • Problem Determination & analysis skills
  • TSM Product skills on OS- Winows, AIX,Solaris, Linux( basic Unix) ,DB2 and networking
