We are hiring a Backup Storage Engineer with experience in both Windows and Linux environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise backup and storage systems to ensure data availability, integrity, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement backup and storage solutions across Windows and Linux platforms
  • Manage storage systems (SAN, NAS, RAID) and perform capacity planning
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs and storage performance issues
  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and change management tasks within SLA
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Veritas, Commvault), storage systems, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Knowledge of cloud storage and backup solutions
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, or ITIL preferred
  • Experience with Azure Stack, Isilon, or Commvault is an advantage
