Job Description

- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends

- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance

- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions

- Analyze market data, industry trends, and internal metrics to inform decision-making and strategy development

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in category management

- Oversee and mentor junior category managers, fostering a high-performance team culture

- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks within assigned categories Present category performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership

- Drive sustainability initiatives within assigned categories, aligning with company ESG goals

Qualifications

- University degree in Economics/Technical Studies, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

- 5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing, preferably in the consumer goods industry

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category strategies

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP system

- Advanced project management and crossfunctional team leadership abilities

- In-depth knowledge of global supply chain management and automotive industry trends

- Experience with market analysis and pricing strategies in the automotive sector

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

- Fluency in English
