Job Description

The Mizuho Securities Debt Capital Markets is a global business with team members based across the world's financial capitals to offer our clients real time advice and relevant insights on market trends and fund-raising opportunities across the global bond markets. 

You will play a key role in directly supporting senior DCM team members in bond marketing and deal execution to sovereigns, financial institutions, and corporates (with a focus on South and South East Asia).

We are looking for a team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a self-starter with the ability to thrive under pressure to meet time sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Create presentation material for external and internal meetings

  • Perform credit analysis and prepare briefs on clients

  • Track and maintain information databases on market related information

  • Research and be up to date with macroeconomic and global market news and trends relevant to client base

  • Attend, contribute and take minutes of internal and external meetings

  • Support the ad hoc tasks and projects of the team, as required

Role Prerequisites

  • Currently in the penultimate year of study of your bachelor's program. The internship position is expected to commence around May/June 2026.

  • Eligibility to work in Singapore

  • Prior investment banking internship experience a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Bloomberg preferred
