  • Day Shift: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Night Shift: 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

    (Candidates must be able to accept night shifts or full night schedules as required.)
Job Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Inspector who is passionate about ensuring the freshness, safety, and quality of fruits and vegetables in a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining product standards across sourcing, receiving, inspection, warehousing, and delivery processes to ensure customers receive only the best-quality fresh produce.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fresh Produce Quality Assessment – Accurately identify and assess the freshness, specifications, and quality standards of fruits and vegetables.
  2. Inbound Inspection – Conduct thorough inspection of incoming raw produce based on company quality standards; promptly report results and any discrepancies.
  3. Inventory Monitoring – Perform routine quality checks on in-stock products; detect and intercept substandard or deteriorating items (e.g., decay, spoilage, deformation) to prevent defective products from leaving the warehouse.
  4. Sorting and Packaging Oversight – Supervise the picking and sorting process to ensure assembled products meet company quality and specification requirements.
  5. Quality Issue Resolution – Assist in handling defective products or problematic batches; communicate proactively with relevant departments to resolve issues and mitigate quality risks.
  6. Cross-Functional Coordination – Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, quality control, production, warehousing, and logistics teams to track and implement continuous quality improvements across the entire supply chain.
  7. Process Optimization – Participate in developing and refining SOPs and quality control workflows to enhance overall efficiency and product consistency.
  8. Other Duties – Undertake additional assignments related to supply chain and fresh produce quality management as assigned by management.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma or above in Food Science, Food Safety, Biology, Agriculture, or related disciplines.
  • Candidates with strong experience but holding a Diploma will also be considered.
  • Basic English reading and writing ability is required.

Professional Skills:

  • Familiar with fresh produce inspection standards and key points in production quality control.
  • Strong understanding of supplier audit and inspection procedures.
  • Capable of performing data analysis and developing SOPs and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of national food safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Holders of Testing Certificates, HACCP, or ISO22000 certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in fresh produce inspection, food quality control, or related roles in food manufacturing or third-party testing agencies.
  • Familiar with raw material inspection and on-site quality control processes.
  • In-depth understanding of fresh produce handling and storage best practices.

Competencies:

  • Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
  • High sense of responsibility with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
  • Able to work under rotating shifts and adapt to dynamic operational environments.
