Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier quality issues — from containment, root cause analysis to corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with buyers and vendors to resolve defects and improve processes.
  • Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and drive continuous quality improvements.
  • Support MRB decisions and ensure compliance with ISO9001 and safety standards.
  • Track quality metrics such as defect rate, SCAR, and inspection backlog.
  • Perform first article inspections and source inspections using precision tools (CMM, vernier, etc.).
  • Work with electrical/mechanical components (e.g., PCBA, sheet metal, cables, frames).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electromechanical preferred).
  • 5–7 years' experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or inspection.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings and GD&T.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, auditing, and vendor quality management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
