Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team and play a key role in upholding and enhancing the highest standards of quality across all operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers based on company and industry quality standards.
  • Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance using defined KPIs, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain and improve quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001
  • Support documentation control, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Lead root cause investigations for quality-related issues, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and procurement teams to drive quality improvements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and its application in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Experience in supplier management and product qualification is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including to developing countries, as required by the role.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written) is essential; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
