About the role

Alphaeus Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Software Tester to join our dynamic team in the Central Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software applications. As a vital member of our IT department, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional products and services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to identify and resolve software defects
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test scenarios
  3. Automating testing processes to improve efficiency and consistency
  4. Documenting test results and providing detailed reports to stakeholders
  5. Staying up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance your skill set
  6. Continuously improving testing processes and contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
  3. Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and techniques
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and identify creative solutions
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the software testing industry
