Attributes We ValueWe hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you're motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you "get stuff done" end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you'll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let's build what's next.
What You'll DoAs Regulatory Enforcement Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Airwallex's regulatory enforcement and broader legal strategy, across APAC and beyond. You'll engage directly with government regulators and law enforcement in the region, handling highly sensitive matters (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, search warrants), with a strong focus on the APAC region. You will advise internal stakeholders on handling these requests, manage internal follow ups, ensuring that Airwallex meets both legal requirements and Airwallex's high standards for compliance and professionalism.
You will be a strategic partner for teams navigating complex legal matters involving financial institutions, customers, and other external parties. You will develop and manage a scalable, global strategy and protocols to support Airwallex's cooperation with key regulators and protect the company's legal and reputational interests as we rapidly expand our customer base and products. You will also provide critical support in advising the company through litigation, court proceedings, arbitration, and disputes (including both direct representation and supervising external counsel), and you will also be responsible for supporting internal investigations involving financial crime.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company in front of government regulators and law enforcement (primarily in APAC) to manage and respond to inquiries, subpoenas, court orders, and other requests.
Advise and support stakeholders across business units on handling regulatory and law enforcement requests, ensuring timely, legally sound, and strategic follow ups.

Shape global strategy and governance for regulatory enforcement engagement, dispute management, and risk mitigation amid ongoing business expansion.
