The Treasury Group (TG) at our Singapore branch is responsible for managing the branch's investment portfolio, overseeing Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and ensuring robust liquidity management to support core business operations.

We are seeking a Senior Officer/Officer to join the team, providing essential support in areas such as ALM, liquidity management, and investment portfolio operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the branch's liquidity position to ensure smooth cash flow by executing various money market transactions
  • Provide competitive loan and deposit rate quotes to both internal and external stakeholders to support business needs
  • Monitor and analyze financial markets to ensure compliance with MAS liquidity requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with money market counterparties, including participating in business trips to deepen these relationships and expand the bank's network
  • Conduct KYC due diligence on counterparties to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk exposure
  • Accurately record money market and investment product transactions in internal systems and provide support to the investment team
  • Prepare and compile various reports, including position, market updates, and financial summaries
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, specifically in ALM or liquidity management
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, particularly money market instruments (e.g., interbank lending, repo, FX)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and perform under pressure
  • Independent and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments and head office unit
  • FMRP certification
