Our client is a global luxury fashion house renowned for its timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and innovation. With a strong presence across South Asia and a focus on continued regional growth, the brand is looking to strengthen its product strategy and category performance through the appointment of a Merchandising Assistant Manager – Women's Category.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Merchandising Manager, the Merchandising Assistant Manager will support the execution of the Women's category strategy across South Asia. This role will assist in seasonal buying, assortment planning, and sales performance analysis, working closely with Paris HQ, local retail teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure the right product is in the right place, at the right time.

Key responsibilities include supporting the buying process during seasonal collections, preparing sales forecasts, tracking sell-through performance, and coordinating with supply chain to optimise product availability. The role will also involve contributing to market and competitor analysis, assisting in pricing strategy alignment, and supporting product training initiatives across the region.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in merchandising or planning within the luxury fashion or accessories industry. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a keen eye for product are essential. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with regional exposure.

Fluency in English is required, and experience working with international stakeholders is highly valued. A passion for women's fashion and a strong understanding of market and consumer trends in the luxury segment will set the candidate up for success in this role.
