Responsibilities

You will take full ownership of developing and managing the company's internal emission reduction projects into carbon credits – from project initiation to final credit sales – ensuring real value and revenue for the company.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Project Screening & Evaluation: Identify which internal projects (e.g. renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management) can be developed into carbon credit projects.

  • Project Development Management:

  • Prepare and draft all required documentation to meet international standards (e.g. VCS, Gold Standard).

  • Coordinate with third-party auditors and follow through the validation and registration process to ensure project approval.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Collect and verify project data, compile and submit monitoring reports to secure credit issuance.

  • Carbon Credit Sales & Trading:

  • Track carbon market prices, identify the right timing and buyers for sales.

  • Execute transactions and deliver revenue from carbon credits.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Hands-on Experience:

  • Successfully developed at least 1–2 international carbon credit projects (VCS or Gold Standard) from start to issuance.

  • Direct experience in carbon credit trading or sales, with knowledge of the end-to-end process.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Ability to independently draft key project documentation.

  • Strong knowledge of project data monitoring, collection, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Southeast Asian project types and methodologies is a plus.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong project management skills to keep multiple timelines on track.

  • Excellent communication skills to work with auditors and buyers efficiently.
  • Results-driven, focused on delivering carbon credits and revenue.
  • Independent and proactive in problem-solving.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing carbon projects in Singapore or Southeast Asia (e.g. Indonesia, Vietnam).

  • Certification in carbon trading or green finance.
  • Ability to work in English plus Chinese or a Southeast Asian language.

Salary

S$4000, based salary+ project commission
