Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
  • Take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system accurately.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Ensure that guests' needs are met during their meals and provide additional services as needed.
  • Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Clean and set tables before and after service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders and timely service.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash/credit transactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus (experience with restaurant menus is a plus).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
