Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, requirements, and success metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery
- Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks and issues, and escalate where necessary to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Manage stakeholders expectations by clarifying requirements, anticipating operational risks, and providing timely updates
- Facilitate effective communication and reporting on project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders
- Drive the adoption of project management best practices and support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with project goals
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience - preferably in a data-related technical enterprise environment, managing medium to large-scale projects
- PMP certification strongly preferred (or equivalent project management certification)
- Experience managing projects using Kanban boards in Azure DevOps
- Experience in vendor management and coordination of external service providers
- Strong skills in stakeholder management - able to manage expectations, clarify requirements, anticipate and mitigate risks, track issues, and escalate when necessary
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum) and best practices
- Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, including timelines, goals, deliverables, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects on time and within scope
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Understanding of data platforms, ETL processes, or enterprise data solutions is a plus
