Paralegal / Legal Assistant Intern, Core Legal Function

Internship Period: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026

Job Description:

As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant for the Core Legal function of the Legal Office for Asia (LOA), your primary focus will be supporting the Core Legal Team across various coverage areas within the Core Legal section, including employment, compliance, financial crime prevention matters, vendor and outsourcing agreements, legal risk management and other departmental projects. 


•    Review vendor contracts, NDAs, Master service agreements and inter affiliate agreements.

•    Maintain a strong understanding of our legal risk management framework, legal procedures and governance.  

•    Provide comprehensive support in mitigating organizational risk and assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies. 

•    Support members of the Core Legal office. Assist the team in performing risk assessments related to legal aspects in Singapore and the Asia region and prepare/update relevant internal documents.

•    Support the planning and administration of LOA.

Job Requirements:


•    Currently pursuing a degree in business or other relevant industry 

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

•    Strong communication skills.

•    Good organizational and time-management skills.

•    Detail-oriented with the ability to work well with others in the legal team, contributing to collective problem-solving. 

•    Good understanding of legal ethics and confidentiality. 

•    Knowledge of risk management policies and practices is beneficial.

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.
