Technician (Preventive Maintenance)

Work Location: Tuas, Singapore

Gross Salary: From $2,000 per month (excluding allowances and overtime)

Work Schedule: Rotating Shift (7:30am – 7:30pm, Monday to Thursday; monthly rotation)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate production lines and machinery to manufacture products efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Load and unload materials safely and ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Monitor product quality and carry out inspections to meet company standards.
  • Record production data accurately and report any operational issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety briefings and trainings.

Requirements:
  • Able to perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.
  • The role involves manual handling of materials (up to 15–20 kg) as part of normal work duties.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment that is not air-conditioned.
  • No known sensitivities to materials or substances used in the production area.
  • Willing to work on rotating shifts (monthly rotation).

Remuneration & Allowances:
  • Shift Allowance (Mon–Thu): $8/day (1st shift), $18/day (2nd shift); higher rates for weekends.
  • Meal Allowance: $3 per working day ($1.50 meal + $1.50 credited to bank).
  • Transport Allowance: $4 per working day.
  • Overtime Pay: Payable after 44 hours per week; guaranteed 0.5 hr OT per day.
