The Sustainability Manager will lead, define and implement strategies to support all sustainability initiatives in the Club. Reducing the carbon footprint, overall reduction in the use of limited natural resources including power, water, building material, etc.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Champion, develop and implement sustainability framework, strategies & priorities and establish goals in consultation with senior management.
  • Ensure sustainability policies, strategies and priorities align with Club's long-term sustainability plan.
  • Lead the Sustainability Committee and work with various department to incorporate sustainability practices and set conservation and environmental goals.
  • Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance and use of sustainability management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposes.
  • Establish sustainability partnership programs through outreach, with internal, external stakeholders and appointed ESG consultants.
  • Collaborate and work closely with consultants to ensure compliance for ESG accreditations.
  • Keep abreast with trends and industry-leading practices in sustainability.
  • Manage and track Club's sustainability goals and metrics, analyze data and produce regular reports.
  • Lead and provide sustainability guidelines & communications (both internal and external) and training for employees across the Club to cultivate sustainability culture.
  • Lead, develop and implement Reduce, Reuse and Recycle strategies and ensure effectiveness of the program.
  • To support work assignments/programs as and when assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently; under pressure to meet deadlines. And has the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Meticulous and willing to explore initiatives and opportunities.
  • Proactive and solution oriented, friendly with assertive and personable nature.
  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and a team player with a passion for driving sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Experience in data analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a sustainability related role.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to support sustainability communication and engagement activities.
