Job description:

Project Scheduling:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

• Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against these benchmarks.

Resource Management:

• Coordinate with project managers to determine resource requirements and ensure optimal allocation.

• Analyze resource usage and make recommendations for adjustments to meet project goals.

Progress Monitoring:

• Track project progress and report on key milestones, delays, and resource utilization.

• Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess the progress of construction activities.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies.

• Conduct impact analysis for changes in project scope or schedule, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present progress reports, schedules, and forecasts to project management and stakeholders.

• Maintain documentation of schedule changes, delays, and mitigation measures taken

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project lifecycle.
  • Experience with high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale civil projects is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and safety requirements is preferred.
Preferred Attributes:
  • PMP, PSP, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
