About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological strategy and execution. Team Leadership and Growth

• Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of top-tier engineering talent, including data scientists, AI/ML specialists, and various engineering roles, in Singapore, significantly expanding the local team.
• Develop and mentor engineering managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and accountability.
• Establish and optimize engineering processes, workflows, and agile methodologies to enhance productivity and collaboration.
• Build a strong, cohesive, and motivated engineering team that thrives on complex challenges and delivers exceptional results.

Product Development & Innovation

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance, with a strong focus on incorporating data science and AI/ML capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with product management to translate business requirements into technical specifications and a scalable architecture.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of all technological solutions.
• Drive research and development initiatives, exploring emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and data science to create innovative products and features.

Operational Excellence

• Establish and maintain robust IT infrastructure and systems.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze technology performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced technology company, preferably within a startup or scale-up environment.
• Strong track record of successfully building, scaling, and managing high-performing engineering teams, particularly in a growth phase.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting and expanding an engineering team, including data scientists, AI/ML specialists, and various engineering roles, ideally with experience in the Singapore market.
• Deep technical expertise across various domains, including software architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data management, and cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of AI/ML methodologies and data science principles.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and development frameworks, with experience in AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
