Job Purpose:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a motivated and capable Project Management Officer (PMO) to support global system implementation projects, primarily within the financial services industry.

This position plays a key role in coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives, ensuring project progress, and maintaining alignment between business objectives, vendors, and technical teams. The role is hands-on, focusing on project execution and cross-regional coordination rather than administrative oversight.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate large-scale IT implementation projects across Southeast Asia.
  • Manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders in Japan, Singapore, and other regions.
  • Prepare and maintain project-related documentation and reports.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Job Requirements:

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Project Management Officer or similar project coordination role.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT or financial consulting.
  • Experience in large-scale or global projects.
  • Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (required for communication with Japanese clients and teams).
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in banking systems, financial solutions, or IT project implementation.
  • Exposure to project planning, requirement definition, and execution phases.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
