About the job
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Service Sales Engineer to join our team. The Service Sales Engineer – Control and Upgrade is responsible for driving sales related to control systems and equipment upgrades for dehumidifier solutions. This role includes developing tailored control and upgrade solutions to meet customer needs, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing accurate sales forecasts and reports. If you are a motivated individual with a blend of technical acumen and sales prowess, this role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
Role and Responsibility:
Focus on acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones to achieve sales targets and objectives for control systems and equipment upgrades. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share of control systems and upgrades.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing customers to secure and cultivate future business opportunities. Recommend control system and equipment upgrades tailored to customer needs to enhance service and product offerings.
Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts and reports for the designated area of responsibility. Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to management.
Ensure all service jobs and purchases are correctly captured, ordered, invoiced, and fulfilled in a timely manner. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution and delivery of services and parts.
Participate in marketing initiatives to enhance sales performance. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for control systems and equipment upgrades.
Engage with existing and new customers through visits to meet sales target levels. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Promote and propose tailored control and upgrade solutions to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency. Conduct assessments of customer requirements and recommend appropriate control and upgrade solutions. Prepare and present control and upgrade solution proposals to customers, highlighting benefits and value propositions.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum qualification of Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant sales experience in a similar role.
Ability to identify and acquire new clients while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing customers.
Experience in sales, particularly in control systems or equipment upgrades.
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to team members, customers, and stakeholders.
Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
