Digital Engineer/BIM Lead

We are looking for a skilled Digital Engineer/BIM Lead to join our team. As a Digital Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of models and drawings using Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, and/or Bentley Open Suite software. You will also assist in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans, set up, configure, and manage the project BIM platforms, and support BIM implementation, authoring, and coordination in all phases of a project. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting the project in implementing BIM processes & workflows for various projects.
• Assisting in maintaining BIM documents such as BEP, Project BIM standards, MIDP, TIDP, Model tree, LOD table, etc.
• Managing BIM production and a pool of BIM modellers, BIM collaboration & coordination, issue management, as-built verification, BIM handover & other BIM processes.
• Preparing and updating federated models for coordination, performing clash detection & reviewing the model, creating & assigning issues, distributing the list to the relevant teams, setting up BIM coordination meetings, following up & ensuring timely resolution of the issues.
• Coordinating with the BIM modeling team on production of 3D models & 2D drawings from BIM (or directly) for C&S/M&E works.
• Producing BIM deliverables such as 4D, 5D, 6D.
• Assisting to develop the Company-wide & Project-specific templates & object libraries.
• Managing the BIM deliverables schedule & ensuring timely delivery of good quality models & drawings.
• Performing QA QC on models & drawings as per project/client standards.
• Maintaining records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, etc. in accordance with the company's ISO standards and procedures. Performing regular backups and housekeeping work in the CDE.
• Assisting in/attending trainings. Continuing to learn new methods to improve efficiency & apply them in projects.
• Maintaining a high level of competency of software through continued use, training, and assistance on projects for the implementation of new BIM software.
• Supporting Project Team for Presentations with BIM-Model and related activities.
• Working under the supervision of the BIM Manager and performing work tasks assigned.
• Providing on-site reporting and bi-weekly BIM/VDC reports.
• Implement BIM processes and workflows for various projects under the supervision of the BIM Manager
• Maintain BIM documents such as BEP, Project BIM standards, MIDP, TIDP, Model tree, LOD table, etc.
• Manage BIM production, collaboration, coordination, issue management, as-built verification, handover, and other BIM processes
• Assist BIM modeling team in producing 3D models and 2D drawings for C&S/M&E works

Requirements and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM coordination in the construction industry.
• Experience with BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, and/or Bentley Open Suite software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of BIM execution plans, BIM standards, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with clash detection and resolution techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of 3D digital modeling and 2D drawing production.
• Knowledge of 4D, 5D, 6D BIM deliverables.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in 3D digital models.
• Familiarity with PFD, P&ID drawings of the BoP systems and modeling the Piping and Mechanical items into the BIM platform using Revit 2020.
