  • Position: Assistant Service Engineer
  • Location: Tuas (Company Transport Provided: Various MRT pick up points)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 4.30pm)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy machinery or equipment on-site/workshop
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of heavy machinery or equipment
  • Support in diagnostics, troubleshooting and technical assessments
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance under supervision
  • Prepare service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Liaise with customers during service visits, ensuring professional conduct and communication
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop environment
  • Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures during service activities
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred
  • Forklift or other licenses (Class 3) will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Requires basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
