Salary: $3,800 – $4,300/month
Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Duration: 6 months (with some overtime expected in the 1st month for training)
About the Role
Join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Executive, where you'll manage high-volume AP processes (approx. 2,000 invoices shared across 2 team members and 24 centres). You'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations, while also supporting month-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Operations
- Oversee end-to-end AP processes: invoice/expense verification, coding, approvals, and payments.
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and monitor payment terms.
- Track AP aging reports, follow up on outstanding items, and manage vendor relationships.
- Partner with Procurement, Centres, and Departments to resolve invoice issues.
Month-End Close Support
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for assigned Centres.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Coordinate with Finance team for timely, accurate month-end close.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, AP processes, and financial controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (preferably ACCPAC/Sage 300).
Highly detail-oriented and organised with strong multitasking skills.
- Independent, yet collaborative team player.
- Open to supporting process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
Other Info
- Accounting Software: SAGE300 (older version, may run slower).
- Some overtime may be needed during the first month for onboarding and process familiarisation.
