Our client is one of the leader in the banking industry, they are currently seeking for an backend operational individual to assist with bank branches operations.

Contract : 1 Year

Location: Changi

Salary up to $3500

1) Process transactions related to Foreign Cheque Clearing, Demand Draft and Cashier Orders, including but not limited to the below
a) System inputs
b) Cheque printing, packing
c) Inventory control (including liaising with vendors)
d) Dispatch of cheques
e) Reconciliation
2) Handle and respond to enquiries/requests from internal/external customers and correspondent banks in respect of their cheque transactions.
3) Collaborate with business unit, support unit, agent banks/correspondent banks in a professional and timely manner.
4) Timely reporting and escalation of risk events/incidents, suspicious transactions and potential complaints for appropriate action.
5) Adhere to high service levels for turnaround time and industry / currency cut-off times.
6) Ensure proficiency over established Standard Operating Procedures and compliance against all relevant policies, standards and guidelines.
7) Perform LV testing or system enhancement (UAT) when necessary, etc.
8) Make suggestions on streamlining and enhancing operational procedures and control, if possible, to enhance productivity and to achieve manpower savings
9) Periodic archival of documentation
10) Engagement in initiatives and projects, no limited to control deep dives, pre-audit reviews, risk self-assessments; coordination of internal, external and regulatory audits
11) Participate in team and departmental activities
12) Any ad-hoc task that maybe assigned
