About the role

Seeking an Audit Assistant to join the thriving team at JG Consultants Pte Ltd, a leading accounting firm based in the Jurong East West Region. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the firm's external audit services, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the planning and execution of external audits for a diverse range of clients
  • Perform detailed financial reviews and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Gather and document audit evidence, preparing clear and concise reports
  • Collaborate with the audit team to identify and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Provide support in the preparation of financial statements and other key documents
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an audit or accounting role, preferably in an external audit environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality work
