Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Code Mentor. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and teaching young students aged 7 to 16 how to program (Scratch, Minecraft, Python, Javascript). As a passionate technologist, you will possess the ability to write code, develop programs, and test out new APIs, frameworks, and platforms. You are an enthusiastic, positive role model who enjoys working with kids and young learners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a positive learning environment for students and foster parent-teacher relationships.
  2. Teach programming and programming concepts to small group classes of children and youths.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or Diploma in information technology, engineering, mathematics, or science-related field. Students who are currently in University or Polytecnic are encouraged to apply.
  2. Strong programming background (Python/ Javascript) with a positive learning attitude.
  3. Experience working with young children and leading classrooms.
