About the role

Wheelchair Transport Specialist Pte. Ltd. is seeking a certified Class 3 BDVL driver as a Wheelchair Transport Driver to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting individuals with mobility challenges across mainland Singapore. As a front-line member of our operations, you will play a vital part to ensure that our customers receive a safe, reliable, comfortable and dignified service.

What you will be doing

  1. Operate specialised wheelchair-accessible vehicles to transport customers to and from various destinations
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with boarding, seating and alighting the vehicle
  3. Update and/or create detailed trip logs and documentation whenever required
  4. Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
  5. Perform routine vehicle inspections and light maintenance tasks
  6. Collaborate with the operations team to optimise routes and schedules

What we are looking for

  1. Valid Class 3 driver's licence with BDVL and experience operating wheelchair-accessible vehicles
  2. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work empathically with individuals with mobility challenges
  3. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
  4. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform light vehicle maintenance
  5. Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shift patterns
  6. Compassionate and patient demeanour
  7. Singaporean and Permanent Resident Only .
