About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective movement of construction materials across our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the transport team to ensure on-time deliveries and collections
  2. Monitor vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and legal requirements
  3. Liaise with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  4. Analyse performance data and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  5. Provide training and support to the transport team to develop their skills and capabilities
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the transport / logistics / construction industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges
  4. Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant software and systems
  5. Knowledge of relevant transport regulations and safety requirements
  6. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to drive continuous improvement
