What the role is

During Household Expenditure Survey (HES) operations, officers are responsible for supervising data processing clerks and provide guidance on the handling of record. Officers will also need to prepare letters and emails to facilitate field visits, provide support and to boost response rates. This project aims to introduce automation to streamline these processes using AI and automation.

What we are looking for

  • Familiarity with bot/RPA development and platforms
  • Proficient in Python
    Preferred Discipline : Undergraduates from Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Technology, Mathematics (e.g. statistics, data analytics)
    Internship Duration: 6 months (Jan-Jun 2026)

The Singapore Department of Statistics is the National Statistical Authority responsible for statistics on the Singapore economy and population.
