Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and housekeeping equipment to ensure high standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to maintain cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
  • Monitor room turnover and allocate resources to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Organize work activities for shift commencement and completion, assigning duties to team members effectively.
  • Supervise and guide housekeeping staff to ensure tasks are carried out according to SOPs and quality standards.
  • Handle emergency response and recovery actions promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns, complaints, or feedback professionally and efficiently.
  • Conduct training, coaching, and development of housekeeping team members to enhance performance.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.

Bellman / Doorman Responsibilities:

  • Attend to guest enquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and tourist information.
  • Assist guests with physical disabilities or special needs.
  • Deliver incoming items to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
  • Manage vehicular flow at driveways and assist guests with entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and provide explanations on room amenities and hotel facilities.
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with directions and other general enquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of luggage rooms and trolleys.
  • Provide luggage assistance for both arriving and departing guests.
  • Monitor and report suspicious characters, activities, or items to ensure hotel security.

Requirements:

  • Related work experience is an advantage.
  • Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
