What the role is
You will be part of a team that implements major infrastructure projects for MINDEF premises in the masterplan for the development/redevelopment of the MINDEF infrastructure and Gombak precinct.
What you will be working on
- Implement various aspects of the planned development and ensure their smooth and timely implementation
- Gather and scope user/operations requirements, develop evaluation criteria, select and contract vendors/services
- Liaise and coordinate with tenant units/depts, DSTA, and regulatory bodies to obtain planning permissions
- Manage vendors for requirement scope, schedule, budget, and compliance
Challenge(s) - Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment on large-scale infrastructure projects
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in project management and large-scale workplace/infrastructure construction and built projects
- Experience relating to construction (including Security-By-Design and Green Mark elements) and/or mega-scale construction and built projects is preferred
- Capacity to work in high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, partners, and industry peers
- Strong strategical and analytical skillset to develop clear vision and analyse complex issues
- Ability to communicate plans and proposals confidently and concisely
