Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end production of Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM), ensuring compliance with Singapore's Medicines Act and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with regulatory authorities (e.g., HSA) and industry associations, addressing compliance matters promptly.
  • Manage and optimize formulation and manufacturing processes, ensuring high product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and supervise the production team, including planning, manpower allocation, equipment maintenance, and shop floor operations.
  • Conduct and respond to regulatory inspections and audits, including GMP compliance audits by HSA.
  • Drive process validation, cleaning validation, and equipment qualification activities to meet regulatory standards.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives in production management systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, performance evaluations, and development plans for production staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational SOPs throughout all manufacturing activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
  • Relevant SPC qualifications (e.g., Registered Pharmacist) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of TCM production processes, GMP standards, and regulatory compliance (HSA/WHO)
