Account Assistant

Accounting

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment.

• Maintain and update vendor information, payment terms, and records accurately.

•   Reconcile AP sub-ledger with general ledger and resolve discrepancies.

•   Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

•   Assist in monthly closing and financial report preparation.

•   Prepare payment runs (GIRO, telegraphic transfers, online banking, cheques) and ensure timely payments.

•   Support in other ad-hoc finance duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Management.

Administrative

•   Order office stationery and supplies.

•   Arrange staff birthday celebrations and office small events (order food/cake).

•   Arrange festive hampers for customers and staff.

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting

•   Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, or UBS Accounting).

•   Organized, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

•   Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
