Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer (Measurement & Testing) to join their team
About Our Client

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of cable management components, with a presence in 34 countries. Their Singapore office, serving as the headquarters for South East Asia, includes a factory in Yishun and an office in Ang Mo Kio. What you'll be doing?
  • Measurement planning: Develop comprehensive measurement plans based on drawing requirements, selecting appropriate instruments and determining the need for inspection fixtures.
  • Collaboration: Benchmark measurement plans and results with mold manufacturers and customers, ensuring alignment and quality standards.
  • Programming expertise: Prepare 3D coordinate measurement programming and guide technicians in correct measurement procedures.
  • Reporting and communication: Prepare and submit timely measurement reports, explaining results to internal and external customers as needed.
  • Training and leadership: Train and guide new measurement technicians, fostering a skilled team environment.
  • Continuous improvement: Participate in gauge and tooling development, providing valuable suggestions for design and maintenance.
  • Quality assurance: Organize regular inspections and maintenance of measuring instruments, ensuring optimal performance.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Degree or above in mechanics or polymer materials, providing a strong foundation for the role.
  • Technical expertise: Proficiency in GD&T knowledge and 3D software such as Pro-E, Solidworks, Catia, and NX, essential for success in this position.
  • Quality management: Familiarity with MSA and measurement management knowledge, crucial for maintaining high standards.
  • Industry experience: Preferably 3 years or more of relevant work experience, particularly in automotive production quality management or first-tier suppliers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel overseas for meetings and training when required, contributing to professional growth and global perspective.
Other Information:

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am-5:30pm

Location: Yishun

Salary: $4500 - $6000
