Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for our executives, staff, and materials between job sites, meetings, and other locations as required. The company driver will support our operations by ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Transportation Services

Safely transport company executives, employees, and materials to various locations, including construction sites, meetings, and events.

Ensure timely arrivals for all assigned trips, planning routes effectively to avoid traffic delays.

  1. Vehicle Maintenance

Perform routine checks on the company vehicle, including monitoring fuel, oil, and tire conditions, ensuring it is always in good working order.

Schedule and maintain regular servicing and repairs of the vehicle as needed with the vehicle vendor.

Always keep the vehicle clean and presentable.

  1. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of vehicle log details, including mileage and fuel consumption via the KOAS Driver App.

Report any accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle immediately to the car leasing company, authorised user and the admin.

  1. Adherence to Regulations

Comply with all transportation regulations and safety standards, including adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

Any summons/compound or insurance excess claim from an accident case received due to the Company Driver's negligence should be entirely borne by the Company Driver.

Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and follow safe driving practices.

  1. Communication

Maintain open communication with authorised users, providing updates on travel status and any potential issues that may arise during transport.

Assist with coordinating schedules and managing changes efficiently.

  1. Additional Support

Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment when necessary.

Provide logistical support during company events, meetings, or site visits.

Support to cover for other users in case of driver manpower shortages.

Job requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 driving license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a company driver, preferably within a corporate or construction environment.
  • Knowledge of Singapore traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Familiarity with the Singaporean road network and ability to navigate effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and respect confidentiality when transporting company personnel.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Possibility of working outside regular hours as needed for project requirements.
  • May involve occasional physical work, including loading and unloading materials.
  • Ability to use a handphone with the driver web application to update attendance and vehicle job logs.

Salary package:

  • A basic monthly salary of $ 1,720 subjects to overtime rates.
  • Monthly transportation and handphone allowances are up to $470.
